Cookies and browser storage: Polity website

Last updated: 21 October 2026.

What the site's own code does

This site's own pages set no cookies of any kind, including advertising or analytics cookies, write nothing to your browser's local or session storage, and register no service worker. They load no third-party scripts, fonts, images or frames: everything the site loads, including its fonts, comes from this site itself. The home page runs the site's own script for navigation, the interactive examples and animations; it sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There are no forms, accounts or signups.

Our host, Vercel

This site is hosted and served by Vercel. When we checked the live home page on 21 October 2026, no cookies were set, including by Vercel, and nothing was stored in the browser. Vercel's Web Analytics and Speed Insights features are switched off for this site. If Vercel or the site starts setting any cookie, we will update this page and list it with its purpose and lifetime.

External links

The only external link leads to our profile on X (@polity_hq). Nothing from X loads until you click, and X's own policies apply from there. Vercel, which hosts and serves this site, is described in the Privacy notice.

"Do Not Track" and similar signals

We use no advertising or analytics tracking, so the site does not change its behaviour in response to Do Not Track signals. We do not sell or share personal data, so a Global Privacy Control signal has nothing to switch off; if that ever changed, we would honour such signals where the law requires.

If this changes

We will not switch on analytics or any other non-essential cookie or storage before updating this policy and, where the law requires, asking for your consent first. We will not show a cookie banner for appearance's sake. Any strictly necessary cookie, including one set by our host, will be listed here with its purpose and lifetime.
